A method for nitrate determination in vegetables has been proposed. It's based on the combination of the two famous modifications using 2, 6 – disulphophenol acid the poor parts of analytical procedure being removed. Its application is particularly expedient for nitrate determination of spring onions and garlic, leek, cabbage and another vegetable crops rich of chloride ions for which the potentiometric methods are inapplicable.
