Abstract
ALEXANDROVA, V. and Y. KOSTOV, 2001. Electrocardiographic data in some heart diseases of dogs. Bulg. J. Agric. Sci., 7: 101-106
Electrocardiographic studies of 82 dogs of different breeds were carried out by use of two systems of cardiac leads. Of them, 34 showed low voltage in standard lead I. Amnestic data and clinical examinations recorded fast fatigue and difficulty in movement, pulse racing and breathing movements, variable appetite, cough, accumulation of liquids in the abdominal cavity, etc. X-rays revealed cardiac enlargement. Electrocardiographic data showed decrease of the values of PQ segment and PQ interval, low amplitude of P-, R-, S- and T-waves, deviation of heart electric axis to the right.
