Abstract
CHEMSHIROVA, N. and A. TENEVA, 2002. Genetic srtucture of breed group of Black and White cows for some genetic biochemical systems. Bulg. J. Agric. Sci., 8: 257–260
The aim of this study was to define the polymorphisms of the proteins – hemoglobin (HB) and transferrin (TF), and the ferments – alcaline phosphatase (ALP), amylase (AMY1), ceruloplasmin (CP) in 84 cows of the Black and White population.
The allele and genotype frequencies on the investigated polymorphic loci were determinated.
It was established a shortage of heterozigotiness on the transferrin, ceruloplasmin and alcaline phosphatase loci, and a high persentage of homozigotiness of the HB, ALP and CP loci.
It was, also, established a breach in the genetic balance of the TF and ALP loci.Key words: cattle, genetic structure, genetic polymorphism
