Abstract
PENKOV, D., 2000. Content of apparent and true metabolisable energy of egg meal without shells experimented with geese. Bulg J. Agric. Sci., 6: 99-102
The chemical composition and the gross energy value of egg meal without shell – byproduct from hatchery have been established. Using adapted for balanced experiments with geese methods the contents of apprent and true metabolizable energy have been established.
The established results are, as follow (in DM): crude protein – 54.28 %, ether extract – 38.0 %, ash – 5.40%, gross energy – 28898 J/g, AMEn – 15279J/g, TMEn – 17228 J/g .Key words: metabolizable energy, byproducts from hatchery, geese
