Influence of some genetic and nongenetic factors on variability of postthaw motility of cryoconserved buffalo spermatozoa and correlation dependence with some traits of fresh semen has been studied. In the study 715 ejaculates from 5 buffalo bulls, cryoconserved in concentrated pellet forms, using GH22 extender have been included. Phenotype variety of motility after thawing is influensed by factors bulls, years, and seasons. Consecutive of ejaculates is not a source of specific variance. Low phenotypic and high genetic correlation exist between volume of ejaculate and postthaw motility of spermatozoa. It was established negative phenotypic and genetic covariability between studied trait and concentration of spermatozoa in fresh semen.
