Milk Productivity and Duration of the Lactation Period in Sheep from Blackhead Pleven Breed

The average daily milk productivity and the total quantity of milk productivity, the duration of the lactation period at complete and 200-day standard lactation at 2.5 and 3.5 years of age from Blackhead Pleven breed depending on their lineal belonging were the object of the study.
As a result of the study it was established that there is a lineal differentiation between the trait milk productivity at separate ages and the duration of the lactation period in the structure of sheep from Blackhead Pleven breed.
The duration of the lactation period in sheep from the studied breed has not significantly influenced the average quantity of milk productivity per lactation.
