Abstract
LINGORSKI, V., 2000. Effect of leaf fertilizer Lactofol O on some bioproductive indices of cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata L.) monoculture. Bulg. J. Agric. Sci., 6: 651-654
A study was carried out to establish the effect of leaf fertilization with bulgarian suspension leaf fertilizer Lactofol O on the dry matter productivity and weed infestation of cocksfoot (Dactylis glomerata L.) monoculture without irrigation in the foothill region of Central Northern Bulgaria (Troyan region).
This study shows that the leaf fertilization with Lactofol O changes the obtained dry matter production disproportionally of the rate's increase. A maximum dry matter yield (9.15 t/ha) was obtained from 8l/ha fertilization with Lactofol O (with 22.0 % more than the unfertilized variant).
The leaf fertilization with Lactofol O produced a less forage production of cocksfoot in comparison with mineral (soil) fertilization with N80 P80 K80.
Because of that the leaf fertilization of cocksfoot can be recommended to application especially in upland or mountain regions near by watter-bearing zones, if it is necessary.Key words: cocksfoot, leaf fertilizer, harvest-haymaking phase, dry matter, weed infestation
