In the 1990-is Bulgaria concluded a number of international trade agreements and became a full member of the World Trade organization. All these contracts aimed at liberalizing the foreign trade and facilitating the access of the local producers to the international markets. The purpose of this article is to analyze the impact of the major trade agreements on Bulgarian agriculture and to make some conclusions about its place in the international division of labor.
