Complex Evaluation of Some Introduced Silkworm Bombyx mori L. Races in SES-Vratza's Gene-Bank

This study was made to evaluate 29 new introduced silkworm Bombyx mori L. races, incl. 16 from Ukraine, 6 from Uzbekistan and 7 from North Korea. Used statistic methods for complex testing and identification of most promising races permit to select the best ones for further selection programs. It was determined that Ukraine₁₈, Ukraine₁₄, Ukraine₁₉, Mereffa₇, Tashkent₁₂ and No7 races were markedly perspective for using in future silkworm selection programs as initials forms for creation of new high-productive hybrids.
